We are treated to another fine video from Hawxx. "Dogma" questions our culture and how it constantly puts us down, and keeps us looking for the latest trend - the dogma of society! A powerful message in this time of change.

Taken from the excellent new album "Youth Of Dissent" by Greek rockers 1000Mods, this is their dark and twisted video for "Pearl"

Here we have some fantastic psychedelic, melancholic blues from The Netherlands' "No Man's Valley." The trippy video matches the psych-groove of the song, which slowly builds in intensity towards the end. Although this was released a year ago, we missed it here at The Uncarved Block, so are including this as our video of this week.

Switzerland's grunge masters "Colossal Rex" provide a visually interesting video for us this week, from the excellent 2020 album "Bloodletting" (we can feel a review coming imminently!)

Let us introduce you to US industrial Goth band "Dispel." They are heavily influenced by medieval mythology, which is evident from the visuals within this video.

A long awaited release from Gramma Vedetta, sees the band in full frontal Blues mode, for this 'lock-down' video of "A Lucid Dream."

Tiger Mimic present their hand-animated video for latest single "It Was Still Dark."

The sublime Melting Palms second release from their "Abyss" album is the single "Fused" which gives us a playful look at the band's recent trip into space.

Feed The Wolf's debut single "Intrusion" was released in January, and was recently reviewed in our new "Singles Review" section

This week we have the epic "Brian's Tale" by AliceIsSleeping. This "Lockdown" version sees the band playing their parts individually and bringing them together for our pleasure, in what has become the norm in these times of craziness. It includes some great animation to enhance the video, and bring out the story of the song beautifully. It is still available on Bandcamp, and we await their new album with much anticipation.

Introducing our new weekly feature, and we start with a fantastic song that was recorded in 2019, but the video was released on 20th March 2020.
Dirty Sound Magnet present "Organic Sacrifice" via Hummus Records. We can only hope that this video is not a prophecy for our own current situation, but the cure for this particular virus is a "subtle mix of peace, love and music."
